Last Mile Planning

Plan a full day of routes in minutes, not hours

Turn orders, vehicles and business rules into optimized daily routes for your whole fleet, then adjust them by hand and release them to your team.

Routyn Last Mile Planning
The result

15 to 25% less mileage and operating cost

That is what comparable own-fleet operations see. Every rollout measures your current plan against the Routyn plan on your own data, so you know your number before you commit.

  • Fewer routes and kilometres for the same orders
  • Lower spend with your carriers
  • Planning in minutes instead of hours
  • Costs that depend on fleet size only

Every rule, at the same time

Routyn plans the whole fleet in one run and respects hundreds of constraints together, so the plan works on the road, not just on paper.

  • Time windows
  • Delivery hours
  • Vehicle capacity
  • Compartments
  • Chilled and frozen
  • Load limits
  • Service days
  • Work areas
  • and many more
Routyn rules engine

A rules engine you configure, not code

Your operation’s rules are set up in a rules engine you can read and change. Before you plan, Routyn flags orders that break a rule or miss one, so nothing surprises you on the day.

  • Same product version for every customer
  • Upgrades included and never break your setup
  • Features built for one customer become standard

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

More questions? Talk to our team.

How long does it take to plan a day?

Minutes for the whole fleet. Runtimes are tuned to your operation, and planners can then adjust the result by hand before releasing it.

Which rules can Routyn handle?

Time windows and delivery hours, vehicle capacities and compartments, chilled and frozen loads, load limits, driver shifts, service days, work areas, deliveries and collections, and many more, all at the same time.

Can we plan subcontracted carriers as well as our own fleet?

Yes. Each carrier and vehicle has its own tariff, so Routyn can choose the best mix and show the cost of every route.

What happens when an order changes after the plan is made?

Re-plan just the part that changed, or move stops between routes by drag and drop. The updated trip goes to the driver’s phone.

Where do the orders come from?

From your ERP, WMS or TMS through the REST API or a file exchange, or loaded from files by your planners.
