Routyn vs Google Maps

Directions are not a delivery plan

Google Maps is the best way to get from A to B. Planning which of your vehicles visits which customers, in what order and within which rules, is a different job.

When Google Maps is enough

Not every operation needs route optimization software. Google Maps may be all you need if:

  • You deliver with one vehicle and a handful of stops
  • The stops have no time windows and the van never runs out of space
  • You don’t need proof of delivery or customer notifications
  • You only need turn-by-turn directions
